Run-time error 339
This issue has been resolved in PhotoELF version 3.9.60 (released April 13th, 2005) and newer versions
Complete details below:
The following report posted on April 5th, 2005
If you get the following error when you run PhotoELF:
Run-time error '339': Component 'LTLST12N.OCX'or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
Then this page will solve that issue:
First, the problem is caused by Hewlett Packard. You most likely have one of Hewlett Packards bundled
imaging software programs installed on your computer.
Description of Problem:
The file in question: LTLST12N.OCX is a shared file that many software programs may use. PhotoELF installs this file
if your computer does not already have it. Hewlett Packard also installs this file, only they are locking this file
so only their software can use it. This file is a "Shared" file... only HP is not "Sharing"... This method insures
their software will always work and that no-one elses software will.
The current solution:
To solve this problem, simply uninstall the following HP Software from your computer:
HP Photo & Imaging Software
HP Memories
This will not remove your scanner or printer software. Your printer and scanner will still function normally.
After you have uninstalled these 2 HP programs, test PhotoELF. If it still does not work, then re-install PhotoELF
and it should work then.
If the problem still persists, try uninstalling any other HP software that is not printer or scanner related.
The other solution would be to upgrade to the most current version of photoelf.
